    Well, but there is actually a Game that was Copied by Minecraft. Roblox had it's first release as Dynablox in 2004, and got renamed to Roblox in 2006. While the first Version of Minecraft appeared 2009. While Roblox never reached the popularity of Minecraft, it is the Block-Building-Game that came before Mojangs Game. So don't correct me, when you don't understand my Comments Content.

    Well, as I recently seen it, there was annother Mining-Game, that was stated to be the inspiration for Minecraft. But my core-Info of Minecraft copying other Games remains: Minecraft is as much not what started Block-Games, just as much as Avatar isn't what started 3D-Movies (but it managed to increase the Interest from "nice Gimmick" to it's current state).

    Just researched it, and here's my Info: Infiniminer And from the Wiki-Entry, the Games that inspired the Creation of Minecraft were: "Dwarf Fortress", "Dungeon Keeper" and "Infiniminer" According to the Wikipedia-Entries of both, Minecraft and Infiniminer, Minecraft is based on Infiniminer with added RPG-Elements. You can find the Infiniminer-Link within the Minecraft-Wikipedia-Entry.

    And I still am disappointed, that there isn't even a Minecraft-Version announced for the WiiU. Even if we'd get the reduced Win10-Version, it would be an improvement to the current Situation. And if there would be enough purchases, they could even update it. Unfortunately, I think Micro$oft is prohibiting them to do so.

    How do you see, that any developer could use a System that was made by Mojang, when they never created any Hardware like a Console or a Handheld? You'll have to keep in Mind, that Nintendo is also a Company, that creates and oftenly defined Gaming-Devices, or Parts of them. And it's quite likely that they'll continue so.

    But since Mojang is a pure Software-Developer, the only logical explanation for why they didn't already announce a WiiU(or 3DS)-Minecraft, is most-likely that Micro$oft doesn't allow it, in fear of loosing possible customers for the MS-Systems, like they did with the PS3/PS4-Users, not buying a Copy for a Microsoft-Console.

    on 4J studios (minecrafts official forum) ,latley they posted that minecraft will come to new3DS and WIIU and the NewNew3DS but it will be behind pocket edition with is the least-popular vers.
