Zelda 2 is insanely hard. One of the hardest games ever IMO. Only for hardcore players willing to die repeatedly and who are willing to stick with it. On the last dungeon now and it's been hard graft believe me.

    I'm too wimp to try this game out. Actually, I'm too wimp to try out Zelda 1 also b/c I need a guide to progress... and I hate resorting to guides. Did you use save states?

    I died so many times and yes I constantly used restore points lol. I think this game got loads of hate because of the difficulty. You have to keep hangibg out in forests killing enemies for hours on end to level up and that's the only way to get through this game. It's incredibly rewarding though.
