    I selected Ranked Battle and started coluring (nearly) everything. Then I opened Miiverse and posted it. It's pretty simple if you think about it. ;)

    Go into the lobby, go up and there should be a red-orange-ish button which says "Ranked Battle" (Or "Rangkampf" in my case, since I'm German ;P) and then you'll see the two arenas that are available now. You press "Y" and should be allowed to run around in these arenas without anyone else in it.
