    actually, someone used this kind of game (turn based/real time) much before this, i don't remember where, but probably in Chrono Trigger (heard of it if i'm right) or Final Fantasy (i don't rember the number though XD). even in the new Evoland 2: a slight case of temporal distortion (if i'm right)

    The Active Time Battle system from Chrono Trigger and FF V (onwards) is a different thing, though. This game is more of a strategy/puzzle game all about coordinating your movement.
