    Some scientists believe that new universes are constantly being created, one after another, like pearls on a necklace. If so, I'd say it's very likely indeed.

    Hmm... it IS big, but black holes are not as scary as they seem. You need to approach the event horizon to be in danger... also, now we know matter can actually escape black holes, so the won't "live" forever... but they're still very interesting. Astronomy is interesting!
