    They should give you 5 days notice before moving, or the other animals will tell you one of them is thinking of moving, you need to check in on your animals a little more often ;) The same thing happened to Charbear but as we streetpassed he moved to my town. You can get your animals back in a situation like that though thankfully, but you have to wait until 16 animals move out before you can ...

    ask them to move back again. They have to be packed in boxes when you ask them. I had to foster Phil for a year before Charbear could ask him to move back to her town!

    i visit the town once a week, & always check if any other animals tells someone is leaving. i have stopped him many times from leaving before. but i guess this was bound to happen sometime. they should have had an option ingame for keeping your favorites. anyway it will be nearly impossible to get him back again now. but there is achhd coming out soon, so i will try get him back in that game.

    htbaa&harri, you dont have to do anything special. they just have the urge to move out after a while. then you will have to try your best to stop them...

    @petevader, you have to get the other animals to tell you, if the one who wants to leave is not telling. i thought i had it covered, since i had 2 other majors in town.. i changed between them. when animals would not tell who was leaving, or the one leaving did not want to tell.. they would always talk to one of the majors, and it worked until now...

    That's sad indeed. When my favourite, Bill the duck, left my village back on the Cube I painted his portrait and put it on a sign where he used to live. Like a memorial.

    @harri, yes it was the rebel gorilla. he is of rebelling other places now... and there is about 400 different animals in acnl i think.. so there is very very smal chance i get him back..

    yes it can happen but its like 01% chance... but i have a plan, for achhd i will try get the al amiibo card. its in the first set of them. then i will have him in my game when i want to. also these amiibo cards will be supported in future ac games i read.. so he will not escape me again.
