Question

I died on day 8...

i made this cannibal trap, 2 blocks deep, but the cannibal with the pickaxe broke in and i died... How do you survive? How can you solve this situation?

    i can't find string for a bow so i will have to think getting a high up base ready so sharks can kill them. And I will be glad i did it!

    You can find strings by killing red little spiders in the cave of Skull Island on D4. You will have the opportunity to meet the black spider boss, so prepare some axes and arrows before going there.

    Im only on island 1! How do i get to another island without being caught by sharks!?! Iv had a massive break with this game because I couldnt do it before!, but now I want to have another go! Please could someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to do so. ill start a new file and then i can go from there! Thankyou in advance!

    First get coconut and mango (10 each). Dig 2 blocks deep, underground, to make a base. First 2 blocks are for the cannibal trap, dig the trap 2 deeper, not 4. Make sure you have wood because that is important! With the wood First turn 4 wood blocks into a crafting table. Place it down. Then turn 1 wood block into 4 wood planks. turn 1 wood plank into 4 sticks. Make a wooden pickaxe.

    Find the cave on the starting island, it's just under the torches. In the cave, take the coal in the chest and craft torches with it. Close the exit on the cave ad begin to dig the stone with your wooden pickaxe. When you have stone bl, u will make some stone tools (pickaxe & axe). Take a lot of stone. You can work during the first night because the cannibals cannot destroy blocks for the moment.

    On day 2, u can go outside and begin to harvest leaves to craft some maps : one for the island map and 9 for the world map. It's now time to begin your first house. The easiest way is to use sand blocks, who are very fast to mine on the beach with a stone pickaxe. Build you house in height (10 blocks minimum) to be safe with the cannibals...

    During the day, SWIM EAST. Keep going straight... You'll end up at the Eastern Islands. Beware of the vulture in the evening. Also there is minerals like Iron.

    @splatgamer, Get to hidden cave by small torch day 3. on day 2 it is best to get the leaves as Charly said. Travel to eastern islands for resources days 7-10, depart 09:00 and Return 17:00. Also on day 2 collect another 25 coconuts and 25 mangos.

    Cannibals can break all the blocks, even stone... And their arrows go also through stone walls ! I hope that this will be corrected in the next update...
