why does the final boss completely drain your fuel level in an instant, im talking literal btw. Im fighting in green then it goes black in a second, then we have to fight his mutated allies, without skells is that even fair???!!! :[

    i can take lao on my own, but with 3 demented lizards its impossible and when my skell fuels well enough, it goes off in an instant

    Is that what happened? I just thought I'd ran out due to fighting for too long. I finished him in foot, but as mentioned above, you should get enough back to get in and finish him off. Maybe put some refuel augments in some slots if it's not charging quick enough?

    You probably are anyway, but focus lizard appendages and lock by clocking right stick. Then press plus and select your party to concentrate fire on them. This will help get them down as quickly as possible.

    ive attempted that, but i guess ill have 2 try it 1 more time; anyway right now im just doing other missions maxing out lv and as much def as possible. (i just hit lv 60) and ive saved b4 starting the chapter so if it dosnt work out i go back and hike the rest of the game :) anyway thank u for the info.

    I think you'll be alright at 60. Pretty sure I was no higher than 52 when I did it. What party are you taking in? I took Elma, Lin and Irina with me. Have you done L quests that allow you to add slots to gear? Both my weapons had 3 lots and I stacked melee attack increase in melee weapons. And ranged in ranged weapon. That helped me a lot.

    Also yeah I messed up with that and started the chapter. Went in with me in Light lvl 50 skell, Elma in lvl 50 Medium, Lin in heavy lvl 30 and Irina in Medium lvl 30. Hope that helps.

    Try to get an intergalactic (in german einzigartig/unique) g buster sword for lvl 50. That thing deals MASSIVE damage for its fuel-cost, and it might (i think so) stagger him.

    you mean the giant sword on the left shoulder, got it. i want the lv 50 one, but like i said my skell(s) get drained within the 1st minute of battling Lao, after that theyre rendered useless.

    the battle took me ages, and by the time, i was nearly killed, my skell recovered those 200 fuel to finish him ;) alternatively you can take a skell-fuel as your daily payment, don't know, if he drains it again though....
