All@ I would say it isn't the fact that people are complaining, but the way they complain it seem to be the case why so many people get angry ;^^. Anyway, as for Twilight Princess HD I am pretty sure it is not a remake, but a remastring which means Nintendo are using the same game with a updated look and most likely with some new graphics ;-).

I think I will "judge" so to say after the next trailer of Twilight Princess comes out and we are promised new content, so I don't think Twilight Princess HD will be that underwhelming in the end :-). (I own the Gamecube version which means that I can't play it on the Wii U, and the graphics/resolution doesn't exactly look good on our big TV ;^^... I want Twilight Princess HD regardless).

On other thing, the remastering isn't dierectly done by Nintendo themselves, but co-developing with Tantalus who did the Deus EX porting(Remastering?) for the Wii U I heard. I don't think Nintendo can take all of the blame as we should take into account that Tantalus is the one who is doing the main job from what I understand on Twilight Princess HD.

Kira: There is new content in the form of Amiibo compatibility with the Zelda series Amiibo and the new Wolf Link & Midna one. I didn't know about Tantalus, but either way, that's still no reason to complain about graphics. Making the game look good doesn't make it a better game.

Kira: It's not just how people are complaining. It's the petty things they complain about. And that's just the Nintendo fanboys. I've seen worse fanbases (Devil May Cry), but right now, Ninty's is worse than the Sonic fanbase, the DEFINITIVE bad fanbase. At least those guys had good reasons (Sonic 06, Sonic Boom games) to complain. Ninty's fanbase is just being selfish.

Heh, that's a big bundle of assumptions, Denzel. The game is coming out in two months. That's nowhere near enough time to pull off a major graphical overhaul, market the game, produce a few million copies, and get them shipped worldwide. Unless Nintendo already has improved graphics and chooses not to show them for whatever reason, what we see is what we get. And I don't just speak for myself;

graphics sell. If this game doesn't have drastically improved graphics and only "fixes a few issues", then it's essentially a $60 software patch for a game that I can still pick up at GameStop and play on my U with a bit off extra content locked behind a $12 piece of plastic.

And I'm just stating what expectations vs. reality. The reality is that the product falls short of expectations. If you care about Nintendo's success, you tell them that. If you want future games to be better, you make sure they get the point and don't make the same mistake twice. The only way to send them a message is with your wallet. That's just how business works. If you don't like a product,

don't buy it; the producer will have to improve and Nintendo will ultimately become more successful. So if wanting Nintendo to be the best company it can be makes me a fanboy, then yes. I'm a proud fanboy.

And on AF and FF, it's the same story. People don't want those spin offs after having been so long with console titles in AC and Metroid. AF didn't sell well, and FF likely won't either. Complaints are the fanbase's way of saying "These games will NOT turn you a profit. Here's what WILL turn you a profit." If Nintendo doesn't make products that the fans say they'll buy, that's just poor business.

I suppose that I should add this now that I have another quick opportunity to log on: I have not yet become argumentative or attempted to oppress my thoughts upon others. So far I have merely stated an opinion about a game, given and reasserted the reasoning behind my personal opinion, and stated a basic truth of business. I genuinely hope that those who get the game enjoy it, I simply get

Ed has a major point there and I have to agree, but I should not state my opinions in this community for obvious reasons.

If I wanted to play TP, I'd get the Wii version, and play it on my Wii U. I have really enjoyed the Zelda series, but I absolutely despise Twilight Princess for it's evil countinance.

I think TP needs to be a bit more kid friendly. I'm worried about playing it and having nightmares. XD

How can you say that? We saw a couple of screens. And there are more changes to the game. (Maybe better bosses?!) Gameplay is always first in any zelda, and they can still tweak the graphics...
