  ididn't get it free but didn't part cash either i used my nintendo club points to purchase this. ifiknew they would shut it down less than 6 months later i wouldn't have got it and used my stars for something else.

  yeah same here Cheekychic, but once it was updated it was a bit better, but i wonder who the culprit is , is it google or Nintendo who dont want to surport the servers, i hope it's not the start of the Wii U losing functionality because of future plans. but then we did recently get Napster , which i dont use and SENSE which wont do anything on my console ,just error.

  So we get something that actually works taken away and something that in return. mmmm @Scamp, yes it is a shame for customers who paid , and in using your points , in effect you paid, plus they recently promoted this with a sale and many bought it. Taking away something customers have actually paid for is i think out of order.

  Nintendo can't afford what it costs to keep the servers running, Google is not giving its services away for free. You must understand that. This application has not been selling as well as hoped and now they have no chance but to shut it down. They first announced about the seers going down in SEPTEMBER last year, so you can not possibly say you'd have been fooled if you purchased his a week ago.

  I paid full price and i will be asking for a refund. If I dont get any joy I will be going to my credit card company to do a charge back because as far as I'm concerned I paid for a download and expect it to work for as long as I retain that software. I dont expect updates or support forever, who would - but i do expect to work. If nintendo updated the wii u and it was unusable it'd b unacceptable

  @Mum, you are being extremely unreasonable here. All software will lose its servers at some point and, unfortunately, the time has come for this one. You can not expect it to work forever. Nintendo announced about the shutting down more than six months ago, so if you purchased this, say a month ago, you have nobody else to blame than yourself for not following the news. You won't get refunds here.
