    I'm not sure if you know this but there are ways to work around Brock despite unable to access Bulbasaur/Squirtle or any grass or water Pokémon at this Point. Catch Mankey with the move Low Kick, either of the Nidorans with Double Kick and Butterfree with Confusion.
