Vanilla fortress also has 6 dragon coins just in case you take the shortcut at the beginning and miss one on the first part. Man, the GBA remake adresses all these instances, because in the SNES original, I think having extra dragon coins to cover multiple routes, only happened in Donut Secret 1.

    The GBA remake was so amazing. It was basically my childhood. That and Super Mario Advance.

    Yes it is. Literally the only flaw I can think of is that due to the GBA sound chip, music is a tad too compressed. Not that noticeable in most of the music, but some, particularly Valley of Bowser, outright sound like farts. That, and the lack of extra content compared to Advance 1, but it still has enough fixes over the original. That, and Super Mario World by itself is beefy enough.
