What you see is all there is (sadly) I've unlocked most of the courses after a few hours play. The N64 and GCN titles are vastly superior. There is no options button either to switch things off either....hmmmm,

  • I hope that they release a DLC...

  • Lol, there is three minigames, standard and classic mode, online ranking, a revamped tournament mode called knockout, with a currency system, and a challenge list. Single/Doubles matches and local multiplayer, wacky courts too. It isn't as bare as critics claimed, gameplay is the best so far. One of the best games on the system.

  • lol...you make it sound so full of good things to do. Truth is the critics are right. Compare what you have to the N64 or GCN version. It seems as the consoles get better the game content becomes smaller. The announcer can't even say the name of the player like on the previous version. No, sorry I cannot agree with you. It's just a bare game that to me feels rushed out.

  • I'm not mad, just disappointed. In 10 years time or so I can't see myself fondly remembering the fun we all had on this game - unlike the N64 version that we all still play to this day.

  • Lol, This also has an N64 mode. People that play it will remember, feedback seems to be positive, critics negative though. Most dont remember the N64 one. Maybe theyll add some minigames, but there are three + n64 mode.

  • Well I do hope they add more mini-games too and while they're at it why not add in an option to easily play with friends online. Also more characters would be nice. A LAN mode to link up other Wii U's. Options to turn on or off music. How about an option for using Wiimotes (after all it is a tennis game) and Gamecube controllers. There's loads more but I'll stop at those above.

  • Some fair points. Wii remotes there, motion maybe removed due to the need for additional buttons. Some on gamepad arent available on remote.

  • Yeah could be. But if you remember the Wii version of Mario Power Tennis it was only a Gamecube remake ported over to use the Wiimotes. So that game only had the same buttons as the new Wii U version does to this day.
