it's difficult but if you can take out 2 shy guys and all 4 chain chomps with one attack with twice the EXP gain battle cards you get a ton of EXP (amiibos recommended)

    my method of doing so is doubling my lucky hits with Mario amiibo and increasing my attack with Bowser amiibo. i then use Mario and Luigi's jump on a separate chomp and then use double EXP gain card and restore my points with a sparkle card on my Luigi amiibo. finally i use the first trio attack and hope that i get enough lucky hits to take out the shy guys and chomps in one attack

    and this is the result of my efforts and i'm still grinding... and still unable to beat dry bowser. also that second save file, i haven't even reached fought King Bob-bom yet
