Winged Yoshi bonus rooms do not forcibly turn Yoshi blue, unlike in the SNES original. And I also forgot, what DID happen in the original was that, said bonus rooms have loads of dragon coins so, again, it's (was) possible to get more than 5 if you get some before entering one, like I am doing here in Cheese Bridge.
