I have a feeling that the only reason why the same gender is flirting with you, is because the developers weren't bothered to do a lot of unique dialogues for male/female. Not that I'm complaining, it's great the same dialogue applies to both genders regardless, but why did they leave out the romancing and same gender wedding... Maybe Rune Factory 5? Oh wait... That will never happen...

    But the developers behind RF4 were hired by Marvelous. Also, in an interview in October, someone (I've forgotten who but I think it was someone who works at Marvelous) said they were looking for ways to continue the series so don't lose hope. =)
