Attacking mechon without enchant

Why do my teammates can attack mechon without receiving the Enchant skill since we came on Mechonis? Did I miss something?

    As I can see in the screenshot, they actually have "anti-mechon" weapons, so you don't need this monado techunique here. I can't remember that well, but I think Dickson gave you some of these weapons ;3
