    The timer continued while I lost a life because of quicksand. (It still did the ring sound while the "Oh no!" animation was playing; however the time continued during the "Continue?"-screen and went over 0)

    Oh, and the button makes the golden block disappear. But not the shadow for some reason. And no, the block won't reappear when I wait for the timer to run out again.
