Question

Any good grinding spots I should know?

So I finally decided to continue the game. I'm at level 68 and I get the feeling that the harder fights are ahead. Any good grinding spots from 68-80 and above?

I recall grinding a bit in the area leading up to him, but I didn't grind very much. I beat Egil after 2 tries I think and didn't do any excessive grinding to do it. He wasn't particularly hard IIRC. What's your team setup?

I'm using Shulk (lead), Riki and Fiora. I also tried Shulk, Fiora and Dunban, but because Riki rarely ever fainted during my playthrough, I decided to use him as a healer. It has worked very well this far.

I would personally swap out Fiora for Dunban or Reyn, as I would be afraid of Shulk/Fiora drawing too much Aggro and not being able to survive it. Dunban/Reyn is great at holding Aggro and surviving. Or you could make Riki the tank with tons of Aggro Up gems. Riki Is Angry is a good Art to use in that case. But yeah, you should be good for Egil. If you struggle, then just grind in the area before.

I think Satorl is a pretty good grinding spot and after the fight at Mechonis Core you can grind in Eryth Sea as well. BTW after you leave the arm to head to the core, turn arond and walk back into the ship. you might find something.

Shulk currently draws more aggro than I would like, so I'll see if any crystals has aggro down. My main reason for using Fiora is because I planned to use Melia/Riki/Fiora for the infamous Lorithia fight, so I was planning to beat Egil, switch to Melia and then go back to Shulk.

For the fight with Egil I used Dunban to tank, Riki to heal and Shulk to do damage. Having Dunban or Reyn makes it much easier to survive.

Sorry this is a bit late. Anyway, I only had to level grind once in Xenoblade mercifully. I was slightly higher leveled than you are, so this might not work for you, for now, anyway, but I farmed the enemies in the Windy Cave on the Bionis Leg (which can be found nearby Raguel Bridge). The enemies in there are around Level 68-75, if I recall correctly.

Shulk/Riki/Dunban is the team I used since I made episode 2 of my Xenoblade Chronicles Diary by Silvereye's recommendation, until I got Fiora back. It will take a bit of grinding on Dunban's part, but that's what I'm going to do anyway. I'm also thankful for any places you recommended.
