    Castlevania 1 was great (besides Grim Reaper). Castlevania 2 was total rubbish. Castlevania 3 would've been great but the difficulty ruined it.

    My personal favourite is Super Castlevania IV on snes, maybe because I played it so much when I was a kid. I don't rember it being extremely difficult, but I might be wrong. Too bad we can't have snes games on 3DS...

    Castlevania IV is great! Castlevania 3 is not really a bad game but the difficulty ruins it. For me at least.

    I've only played the original 3 It seems it's generally accepted that Super Castlevania IV, Aria of Sorrow and Symphony of the Night are the top 3. I hope to play them some day :)

    Super Castlevania 4 is my all time favourite. Pushing so much out of the SNES. I really miss the old Konami :-[.
