I think I prefer this over the MK8 remake. It just has a better feel to it, and the music is much better.

    I didn't even realize Ribbon road was the same one from Mario Kart super circuit until recently. It's completely different!

    I really have to wonder why they changed it to a playroom theme... Perhaps those presents in the background provided them with inspiration.

    I'm not overly impressed with Mario Kart 8. This on the other hand has all the original SNES tracks.

    They removed all of the stage hazards though, and some of the music doesn't sound that good with MKSC soundfont, but it's still awesome that they included the SNES tracks. @LauriJ I actually think it was a really cool idea. It gives the course a different atmosphere. Still prefer the original, though.

    I'm fine with the fact that they transformed it into a kid's room, but I don't like how they changed the circuit completely, removing the boost panels and making it just a generic ribbon with waves and occasionally a jump. The track design was better in the original and the music in the new one is completely ruined.
