Anyone else thinks, Skyward Sword was a huge disappointment? Hopefully, the next one will be better again.

  • HOW CAN U SAY DAT?!?! SKYWARD SWORD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

    Yeahs1
  • SS is pretty good IMO. But not the best by far!! The Windwaker and OOT are the best. (I haven't played TP)

  • I think it failed in gameplay pretty bad BUT did an impressive work for the characters and their development. So sad it was not enough...

  • I enjoyed the gameplay way more when I realized how to do it correctly, I liked it as a origin story behind Link, Zelda and Ganondorf, and the connection between the three. Of course every games has it's flaws, not like there's any game that's perfect.

  • Well, once I was through the game, it was like the game said to me "And this was the originstory of The Legend of Zelda" and I answered "Oh, you just told me a story? Sorry, didn't realize that."

    Yeahs0
  • It was pretty clear by the end, showing that Link is the chosen hero with the Hero's Spirit, Zelda is the goddess Hylia incarnate and the blood of the goddess flows through the royal family which is why they have magic powers, and Demise placed a curse on them saying a reincarnation of his hatred would go after them, Ganondorf.

  • wow! chill... Zelda games are mostly about the adventure and if you want more about the story you need to go deeper in the details and the little hints of the franchise.

  • I just bought Skyward Sword last week. I love it! The only thing that I hate is Link's stamina gauge, the motion controls for the Loftwings and the shield duration. I still need to process through the game though, still at the beginning...

  • I enjoyed SS, but at the same time I believe it is the worst 3D console Zelda game to date. The origin story was cool, but I felt like the game itself was trying too much to be a good motion controlled gamed rather than a good Zelda game. The excessive hand-holding, the lack of any real overworld exploration, some questionable enemy designs (Bokoblins looked dumb). . . I liked SS, just not as much

  • Skyword Sword was just different, not disappointment. Not if you want disappointment, look at Destiny, Watchdogs, Titanfall, The Order, etc.

    Yeahs1
  • Eddie: You're right and don't get me wrong. Skyward Sword was a decent game and I still quiet enjoyed it. But since I had such a blast with TP, it just couldn't keep up to my HUGE expectations. That's what I meant by "disappointment."

    Yeahs0
  • I admit, for the first 5 minutes, I HATED SS. But then, I got used to the controls, mastered them, and played the rupees out of that awesome game. And that is why it is my favorite Zelda game,

    Yeahs1
  • Though, I do have one question. Why did 16bit bashed the entire Zelda franchise when comparing to the Witcher 3? There's very little to no relation between the 2
