    Ok, so first, play the game you want your profile pic to be. Second, when you have it at a moment that you like, go on miiverse (still in game). Third, when you post in the top right corner select the button and choose either top or bottom screen. Fourth, after you post it click on your post and click the little spanner in the bottom right corner. Finally, select the option “Set as favourite post”

    If you want a drawing as your profile pic, do exactly the same (but you don't have to be playing anything) and then select “Set handwritten post as favourite post” :) hope i helped! •ω•
