Perhaps not the chapter 5 ones, aside from Kamiizumi as I'm trying to get a scene for him. I might just fight everyone in chapter 6 and I'll definitely do them in 7 and 8.

I remember some of them in the later chapters got ridiculously hard unless you spent some time setting up complicated job and ability combinations. And even then, it wasn't always a guarantee that you'd win.

All the chapter 8 ones have different strategies. Even the stillness method can't beat all of them all the time because Konoe outspeeds you with shippujinrai. Which rematch in particular is causing you trouble?

Use enigma and fairy ward from the spiritmaster to protect yourself against Ominas, and I recommend leaving Barras until last and having a Knight with dual shields to make sure you survive his invigorate.

I didn't find them that complicated to be honest. I could beat all of them with my main job & skill combination or a slight variation of it. Ringabel: Vampire/Ninja Tiz: Performer/White Mage Agnes: Arcanist/Dark Mage Edea: Swordmaster/Spell Fencer For some battles I changed Tiz to Performer/Spiritmaster and Agnes to Arcanist/Red Mage. (Too lazy to write down all the abilities^^)

I did like him, I just didn't love him like I do now. However, I hated Victoria because of the Florem episode. She grew on me.
