    you could hardwire your Wii u, the lan adapter is a bit pricey, but worthwhile.

    Had the same problem with my Internet provider's Technicolor router. Browsing the Internet & Internet connection test was fine, but the game connection failed. The solution was to contact the provider to connect my own (D-Link) router. After that everything was running great.

    I don't think this is a communications problem but a player problem, ie dropping out or it could mean the host has had an error instead.

    I got it to work yay I followed this tip in the whirlpool forum and telnet into the router I'm smiling now :)
