Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U

Has the home button been disabled for 8 player Smash? I'm positive I have posted screenshots of 8 player Smash in Miiverse in the past, but now it won't let me. I thought it was because of the miis, but I have tried multiple times without luck. Googled it and nobody seems to mention this. What happened?
