... teams that haven't. I've succeeded in Gold & Platinum and failed in Silver, the difference being team work.

Rumour has it his GamePad is no good and his neighbour caught him hijacking their wifi so is using 3G but has used up his data allowance for this month and hasn't figured out yet how to hijack someone else's 3G. 'course rumour is just rumour and they could have been invented just for the lols.

  • @Mati, broken in a coop game still applies. The very definition of broken is when you have a kit that utterly ruins the intended balance of the game which is what the AIU basically is. The game has rules and has strategy and all of that gets thrown out of the window with overpowered kits like AIU. There are a lot of Juggernaut players on Platinum and they are usually the most useless players.

    Yeahs2
  • That's not to say the juggernaut is not capable of handling platinum, but very few players understand how to use the kit effectively in platinum. A lot of players resort to the heavy melee spam which is the worst way to play the juggernaut. On platinum, even with 3000 shields, you will go down as the juggernaut. That's just plain fact unless you know how to deal the most damage with the kit...

    Yeahs2
  • by using siege pulse, and heavy melee to replenish some shield and also force knock down enemies before triggering explosions with siege pulse. I have played with some of the best BSN players and they just absolutely destroy platinum. That's not to say that having crazy weapons like venom shotgun and AIU is a big help, but generally, they know the game way more than I do.

    Yeahs2
  • I mean, "isn't a big help" Anyway, what I'm saying is, based on my experience, what they've been doing in that game is plain wizardry. I've had gold matches where there were absolutely no enemies to chase and the map is Glacier! I'm sure the best of the Wii U players match right up there with them. If you're asking me, however, I'm nowhere near good when compared to those nuts.

    Yeahs2
  • @LC, ours being the best version is definitely for that reason. Our MP DLC packs were properly balanced and everything about them were well thought out. Teamwork still matters a great deal and there are none of those strange unbalanced stuff from the last DLCs. The only thing that feels missing on our end is the Collectors, but those guys are kinda cheap.

    Yeahs3
  • It's the build of ME3 that hasn't been tampered with by BioWare's crazy untested stuff. Geth scanner equipment, geth trooper, turian ghost infiltrator, AIU, venom shotgun, etc. This is the game I prefer playing over the PC one and that's the truth.

    Yeahs2
  • @Ree, yes. Our community is awesome. That is pretty much hands down right. :-)

    Yeahs2
  • So is there really that much of a noticeable difference besides lack of characters and extra maps ect?

  • What I can say is, on PC, the game runs on 60 fps. The game is generally HARDER because the enemies notice you faster at 60 fps vs 30 fps (consoles). They also have way deadlier aim than on consoles due to the fps. Barring that and the mouse aim, the only difference are the recycled 'hazard' maps, missing character kits, Collector enemy faction, and 1 new enemy unit for geth (geth bomber) and...

    Yeahs0
  • another for Cerberus (Dragoon). Geth bomber is an armoured flying geth unit that flies to your direction in packs and drops small grenade shrapnel in your location. It also has the drone shock and stun locks you (like most annoying geth units do). It also has an unfixed glitch of ignoring power attacks 50% of the time, so it can actually ignore your Overload even if it hit.

    Yeahs0
  • Dragoon is the Cerberus equivalent of the 'Smash bros' (aka Phoenix Adept and Phoenix Vanguard). Except that this one has no other power than a lunging version of smash and that it packs a shotgun with it. Oh, the enemy unit is also armoured. Both new units are designed to flush out campers in FB White that dominated the grind back in the day.

    Yeahs0
  • I would like to experience the game at 60fps! They sound like pretty cool additions though. Those geth bombers sound like the hardest thing ever, swarms you say?!

    Yeahs2
    Played
  • The bombers usually run in packs of three or so. They scurry through the map very quickly since they float and they are meant to sneak up and drop bombs on you. The bombs stagger you, not to mention, take down your shields. Perfect for the rocket trooper, geth hunter to finish the job. Geth bombers also get the same 'dodge' property as other enemy units when targeted by powers.

    Yeahs1
  • In general, it's really annoying to play against and makes the geth even more annoying. I would've been fine with the units if BioWare fixed the power ignoring glitch, but nope. So, we're all suffering because someone got lazy. The Dragoon is a bit tricky because they aren't like other Cerb troops that wait around behind cover. They rush in and smash you immediately, so you have to be really fast.

    Yeahs1
  • They sound like pretty fun additions though. Also I should be back on soon. I have just had my 5th engineer out. (no exaggeration)and my internet seems to be working pretty nicely now. (:

    Yeahs1

  • They aren't too shabby concept-wise and they make for interesting fodder. Geth bomber though is a total PITA. On PC, my preferred enemy faction is Reapers. There aren't any of these surprise new enemies showing up. On Wii U, I prefer Cerberus. Easy peasy faction.

    Yeahs0
  • Wait till you hear about the possessed abomination which acts like husks except if you take them down, they have this nuclear explosion that takes you with it. :-p Collectors are very strange enemies that seemed to be way better at beating up players than the actual genuine Reaper forces themselves. lol.
