Regardez attentivement les panneaux dans le bâtiment juste après le départ de Parc Glougloup,vous verrez une référence bien cachée à Super Mario Land.Un des panneaux dit que la première fois que des sous-marins ont été utilisés (dans Mario) fut en 1987(SML est sorti en 1989, peut-être qu'il a été conçu à partir de 1987) car c'est bien dans SML que Mario utilise pour la première fois le Marine Pop.
