Question

Is it possible to play locally using Download Play through the Wii U and a Nintendo DS/3DS? I've tried a couple of times and nothing has happened. Does anyone know if it is possible?

    I doubt it, as Virtual Console is just emulating the DS' hardware I don't think the Wii U has the specific DS wireless communication chip that makes DS wireless functionality possible.

    Thought so... If only there was a special piece of hardware or software that would allow Local or Download Play. Also, thanks for the help!
