    Haha! It's a G Rank quest, and for this one you're not allowed to use any armour or talismans! He doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as he should to compensate for that. The Great Sword I used does Sleep damage, which builds up and eventually puts things to sleep. You can then do one attack that I think does 3x damage! He fell asleep twice xD I used a few bombs too.
