    The Ruto crown can be given to the leader of the Ho Ho tribe for around 2000 rupees. The Treasure seller will only sell it for a cheaper price (800 rupees I think). Other than that, the treasures are only there to collect and sell for rupees.

    Ah, thanks. I wondered if that was the case when them. I think he actually offered a mere 50 rupees for it (or maybe that was something else). Thanks for the info!
