Isn't Link supposed to wield the Triforce of Courage? So why doesn't he have the bravery to talk for himself?

A. Link doesn't have it in most of the Zelda games: MC, FS, MM, FSA, ALttP, OoS, OoA, LA, HW, LoZ, PH, and ST didn't feature Link with the Triforce of Courage, and AoL only had it at the very end. SS, OoT, TP, ALBW, and WW are the only ones where he's confirmed to have it during the gameplay.

B. Link DOES speak, it's just left silent for the viewer to imagine what he's saying. Often times Link will relay information to various NPCs, confirming that he does indeed speak: "What? How did I know your name? You think it's weird eh? Well, I saw it on back of this shield!" -Tarin, LA

Vladislak - I'm really sorry. I actually don't know that much about the Legend of Zedla series. The only game I've played which is related to LoZ is Hyrule Warriors which supposedly isn't even a Zelda game. Thanks a lot for the information and for correcting my faults.

No need to be sorry, you learned something new. That's rarely a bad thing. I'm sure there are things you know that I don't too.

We don't usually hear Link speak, by we do see him speak. Like Vladislak said we can see Link speaking to NPCs and on a few occasions Link talks using text boxes (AoL and TP)

Vladislak - Thanks a million for following me. I suppose I wanted to know more about the series and when I asked Miiverse Users, they said that Hyrule Warriors was the only non-Virtual Console Legend of Zekda game available on Wii U. Since I prefer the disc versions of games rather than the downloaded versions, I decided to purchase Hyrule Warriors which supposedly was a crossover between...

Oh, one more thing I wanted add. Link gets the Triforce of Courage because he represents that attribute to the most, nor because he isn't brave

Dynasty Warriors and the Legend of Zelda series. I'm hoping I can learn and experience more about the franchise. After my unintended mistake, I may consider buying various Virtual Console Legend of Zedla games. For some reason, I think that you would not hesitate to recommend the series. So, would you recommend purchasing various Virtual Console LoZ games? And if so, which ones would you recommend?

Hero - Thanks a lot for the extra information. Would you also recommend the Virtual Console LoZ games? Also, would either of you care to recommend a topic/subject for tomorrow's edition of Super Splat Bros? (Look at my third last discussion if you want more information)

Sure! Glad to hear you're interested. Usually Ocarina of Time is a good place to start, it does a good job of presenting the world and it's mythology that was mostly established in A Link to the Past. My favorites are A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, and Wind Waker, although the first two are rather old-school so you may want to start elsewhere. Like I said, Ocarina of Time is a good pick.

If you want to get into the series I recommend Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past. There is also Twilight Princess, Minish Cap, Wind Waker, Link's Awakening

FireWorks@ Like Vladislak and Hero says we do see Link speak even if we don't exactly hear what he is saying :-). A thing that isn't pointed out here is that in Skyward Sword Link/we get to choose between a simple dialog tree which leads to a bit different reactions, but doesn't really change the overall story.

FireWorks@ As far as physically Zelda games on the Wii U, Wind Waker HD is out now and Twilight Princess HD is coming out in 2 weeks on the 4 march :-). Personally I really like Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Minish Cap and Triforce Heroes a lot, but I do think the best Zelda game to start with might be either Wind Waker or Ocarina of time. (Ocarina of Time 64 is available on the Wii U eShop).

Kira - Thanks for telling me that. Vladislak and Hero - Thanks so much for the recommendations. By the way, isn't there a HD remake of the Twilight Princess coming out this year for the Wii U? Would that possibly be a good place to start?

FireWorks@ I wouldn't say Twilight Princess (HD) is a bad place to start and definitely possible if you want to :-). As long as you are fine with the more dark themes you should be fine overall I think ^^. I say look up if you think it is a game for you by looking at pictures, but I will say Twilight Princess is a good game in my view :-). Yeah, Twilight Princess HD is coming out on the 4 March.

Twilight Princess is a good game too, I certainly enjoyed it. It will give you some of the mythology as well. Really there's no Zelda game that would be a BAD place to start, Nintendo does a good job of making sure that even direct sequels can stand on their own.

Hero, Vladislak and Kira - Thank you all so much for helping me out. I'll probably wait until Twilight Princess HD comes out and see what people think of it.

It's kind of weird that this post went from Link not talking at all to Link talking a bit to recommendations for LoZ games.
