Weekend Meowth: 7100 coins! Mewtwo team used. Mobile: 8100. Slightly better, including one 6-match. I also entered the Mega Venusaur competition on mobile: 66,409 452 / 375,430 at present. I never got the 1.5x speed bonus, and of course I did much better than when I did get the bonus almost every turn! Rushing isn't the answer - not even for 1.5x points!

    You should give a try to full candied M-Rayquaza when you can. With Goomy on the team, he can make you stop the combo at 3-4 and create many T and X coin set ups for the next spawn.

    I sticked to Mewtwo although I have fully candied my own Rayquaza and ... it was awesome ! The picture is on my profile, I got 11900 coins ! Only moves +5 of course. Next time, Rayquaza ! :D

    I decided to go for the New 3DS. I litterally spent one day at the shop for the data transfer. Well, the shop is underground, and the first transfer crashed near the end because the console disconnected from the Internet.

    Ah, yeah, that's a pain. I heard the full wireless transfer takes ages so it was recommended to use a PC to copy the contents of your SD card on to a microSD card for the New 3DS. If you'd known, you could have done that in advance (especially since the included microSD is too small so most people upgrade it), but I didn't think of it, sorry!

    It was really close but I dropped below #2500. I did incredibly better (still no damage boost, I scored 57971 which is 8k points more than before). This is definitely my best score in a competition when not taking damage boost into account, else it would be my Steelix score I think.
