    I think that the new update is there to prevent people from doing what you are trying. I'm not against the idea of starring levels like that though because it is hard to get 5000 stars in general. As you may know from my post, the same thing happened when I tried to star my sister's level sadly. I know I made a topic ranting about the update, but should I make it into a mario maker level too?

    If it makes you feel any better, I did give more stars to the levels I was able to star again. We aren't on the same console after all so you can still get a lot of stars from friends.
