    Yes, it's the mega mushroom. Though, one time when I was creating a level, I was able to put in Bowser with Princess Peach on his back without the mega mushroom. That was only one time, I couldn't do that again. I think it was a glitch.

    I have been asking myself the same question. All I did was mess about with bowser in Mario 3 setting, then I swapped to the first Mario setting, next thing I knew I saw Bowser with Peach on his back. That should only happen with the mega mushroom but I somehow did it without it. I could never do it again so I think it was a glitch. I must have confused the game.

    Yes, when you get the mega mushroom, you will see all those funny things until you get hit and lose the mega mushroom power up.
