How would you NERF Bayonetta?

It's obvious that she needs a nerf, but how would you do it to stop her from being toxic and not make us Bayo fans salty at the same time?

    Give her Brawl tripping. Her neutral will now be even more garbage than it already is. Jokes aside, I'd probably remove most of her kill options to make her a low risk low reward character.

    Make her 'combos' easier to get out of. I'd also seriously nerf her stupidly op Witch Time. More than Sakurai did. I'd make it last for 2 1/2 seconds instead of what... 7 seconds, maybe? After all. If my Brawl main got nerfed like that, I don't see why Bayo can't be nerfed in that way too.

    Well witch time has invincibility frames AND counter frames..... Tis a no-no....... And there shouldn't be a 0-death I have to DI out of.

    Easy. Do three things to her: Witch Twist and Afterburner Heel: SDI multiplier increase. Jab and all subsequent ground attacks: do less damage with knockback compensation (to avoid giving her MORE combos). Witch Time: Decays much faster, and some later frames are now Bat Within instead.

    Also @Bronze I hate her 0-to-deaths too, but without DI half of the roster would have at least one 0-to-death (Yoshi especially).

    I'd nerf Bayonetta by simply customizing her attacks to be weakened. I mean seriously you can basically nerf her by going to "Custom Fighters", it just seems so simple to me.

    Give her the Luigi treatment. Give her too much knockback growth on certain moves like d-tilt or side B. Poor Luigi didn't deserve that nerf. RIP d-throw to d-special.

    Thank you everyone for your creative ideas, most of them sound so easy to pull off but it's all up to Daddy Sakurai and his team at the end of the day. I gave you all yeahs, as thanks for your contribution. My idea was for her witch time to stop, as soon as she touches the character getting WTimed in anyway shape or form, I know it's kinda dull but that's all I got. I'm closing it now, thx again!
