SSBU question! What would you prefer? Awesome grapics/30fps or OK graphics/60fps? I would choose OK graphics/60fps. 60fps is a must for a fighting game! What do you guys think? :D

  • I'd usually agree with the other option, but this is SSB. If it has phenominal 'graphics', it can attract thousands of people and Nintendo would probably get more sales that way.

  • Neo, how can you not care about how the game looks on your display? Do you not look at the game as your playing, relying solely on the in-game sound effects to guide you? If so, you're Dare Devil!

  • Nintendo or Wii U have yet to achieve 60 fps at 1080p. No one is sure it's even doable. Even the 2 new consoles struggle to achieve it!

  • @Tom64 That is true. PC FTW!!

@carl i dont care for graphics i play almost every game, with good or bad graphics, for me ppl should not whine cuz of graphics...

    Yeahs0
  • @Brian What about it? :O

    Yeahs0
  • @Brian No WWHD is 1080p 30fps

  • Gehab is right it was debunked and confirmed 30fps. No true 3d full scale game runs at 1080p/60 yet on Wii U. And the corners you have to cut to achieve that dont make it worth...

  • 2nd option, and have you heard about the new character announcement monday?

  • @Like a sir I have! The hype is REAL! :D

  • honestly, I do not think that 60fps/720p is bad for some games, but 1080p and 30fps might make it seem better in comparison because they pretty much look the same, just 1 side runs faster than the other, which looks better. besides, there might be a better chance of not having a seizure with 30 fps. and this is just my opinion, I just feel as if other people need a say in it like I do.

  • Well, it depends on the game. If its a fighting game with fast paced action (like Smash) it should be 60fps, but the 3DS version has 60fps, so is obvious that the Wii U will be 60 fps, and will definitely will 1080p!

    Yeahs2
  • Also, Rayman Legend runs at a 1080p 60fps, i think Smash could, but thats yet to be decided. I perfer framerate over Pixels, it CAN (but not all the time, like Kirby and The Rainbow Curse, so that the game looks like Clay animation) help the gameplay/game and Nintendo is focusing on the framerate so it looks smooth, also another coming game that is TARGETING 1080p 60fps is Xenoblade Chronicles X.

    Yeahs2
  • For The Legend of Zelda for Wii U, i think it will run at 1080p 30fps, because probably its running on the Wind Waker HD's engine (Fun Fact Wind Waker HD is running on the HD experience). And Zelda isn't really the type of game that is really fast paced, like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

    Yeahs1
  • I perfer ok graphics at 60 fps I hate laggy performance! Plus framerate is perfect for timing and how smooth the overall experience is while graphics are just a look and you can look and other games that have great graphics I'm not big about graphics
