    Diddy Kong Racing is a 1997 racing game developed by Rareware where drivers race by car, hovercraft and airplane. Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed is inspired by it.

    Sega's Adder's Lair (in the screenshot) is very similar to Rareware's Hot Top Volcano. Both games are awesome and quite better than late Mario Kart entries, in my opinion.

    Cool. I loved struggling to finish first and therefore getting a new balloon so I could access new areas. The second time you deal with bosses was difficult and passing all silver coins challenges...

    n64 was much better than ds cos it had depth- fast press A button to go faster, release for green zippers etc. Far superior to any mario kart even. racing wizpig the second time on the moon was tough!

    Besides, no doubt the sound and controls are better on the N64 version than on the Nintendo DS one. I agree with you, Diddy Kong Racing is better than any Mario Kart,if only there was an updated vers.

    My favourite Mario Kart is Double Dash!! Mario Kart Wii is just chaos and unbalanced gameplay. Mario Kart 7 shallow, half-empty and uninspired. I enjoy Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed much more!
