For guaranteed lives on this mini–game, here is a trick. When the game starts, the arm moves right and then left. Wait until it reaches as far left as possible then hit the button to grab. If done right, you will ALWAYS walk away with the heart!! Be sure to do this the first time it moves left ir it might not work out. Best of luck!
