Also, I think I fought the sisters in the wrong order (Artemia 2nd, not 1st). That flower place was ridiculous...

There is no wrong order. If you do it in a different order, you get different scenes for Mephilia.

So I've heard. My brother did that apparently. Lost on Mephilia so went to fight Artemia, then went to Mephilia again. But I did notice that Mephilia and the Garden was much more difficult, the basic Garden enemies were bosses before Artemia, and the Ranger job is listed before Summoner in D's Journal.

Well, for some reason later on a job that appears quite a bit later than some others appears first. I have no idea why they did it that way. If you want, you can do Artemia and the other side quests in C2 before her, so at least then you'll be stronger.

Maybe it was initially going to be available sooner but they changed it? Also, I believe the Ranger and Summoner quests open at exactly the same time, so they put them in alphabetical order.

I think it's probably as Artemia doesn't get a dungeon. But I fought Mephilia last of the three sisters, so I wouldn't know. Maybe just advance in the story a bit, there is a boss you should definitely steal from to improve your mages. Unless you've already passed this part.

Yeah, it's probably the dungeon. I went into the fight with nearly maxed everything. And I need to remember boss-stealing. I've stolen a Mythril Rod from Profiteur, Scimitar from Khint and probably something from Khamer but I forgot to do it for these two sisters. I'm about to head back to the Yulyana Sage for clothes so I'm not much further

You should steal from the boss coming next, even though it's not a traditional boss. You get some very nice items that I don't think you get for another chapter. But the only bosses you need to steal from are the ones in Chapter 7. Everything else can be bought.

Harsh, I've had games where I've missed the best things from not stealing. Realising I needed to steal from Gilgamesh in FFXII to get the best armour set... about 40 hours of play after beating him. Thanks for the heads-up :)
