    I meant to say "put us" besides, I actually meant that she could hand it to Chrom. He's quite capable. Representing the situation in the screenshot, Morgan would be unavailable but I'd easily put Gerome in to fill that gap. He's a fountain of wisdom when he needs to be and Laurent's knowledge adds to any tactical information that would be required.

    I would stand with the point of Laurent and Gerome's tactical capability, but the witness called Gaius disagrees with Chrom being capable. Would this represent the skill of Chrom, despite in the same log being quoted as "great guys to throw down with"?

    I have a friend that ate the peels of a banana and an orange. I simply go to logical grounds that Vaike dared him to and Chrom didn't want to feel shamed. Gaius may or may not have even noticed Vaike or the dare could have been to walk through an area doing so.

    But, woudn't normal circumstances flow and Vaike rather challenge him? I think that this would be more accurate, considering the nature of Vaike's Chrom and Lon'qu support log.

    I seem to remember in one of Maribelle's supports (I believe it's with Vaike) that he challenges him in a variety of ways such as gambling and the like. It's just the need to universally challenge him. Besides, Gaius could have easily missed Vaike doing it and likely referenced Chrom on the off chance that Vaike was dead when Gaius was recruited. (Classic Mode)

    That would be a plausible outcome, as it takes into account that Vaike is dead before the Valmese invasion. However, Gaius woudn't be likely to mistake Vaike for Chrom, as their physical attributes are considerably different.

    Chrom isn't allowed to die over the course of the game and the only scenes that Vaike is in story-wise are impossible for him to actually be dead in. The player is too intelligent to not peel the orange as is Frederick who (aside from Lissa) are the only other characters that can be mentioned in the same principle as Frederick would only be severely injured at most.
