Default the turn after transform as well. He'll only use EB after he's transformed, so then use up all your BP you stocked up and heal. Maybe use lightning specials too.

If you brave x 4 in the first round and compound 16 pantheon's wraths from fulmen shards, I think you can kill him in one turn. I've never tried it, but that ability pierces his shield.

He's one of the hardest bosses for this point in the game. I think most people would struggle with him =D

The bosses in chapter 4 are tough, but the crystal boss isn't. Just the asterisk bosses.

It's more to do with strategy than grinding. You'll need four star pendants.

This is more like the old NES/SNES ones. That being said, I found IX required SOME strategy. Not as much as X or anything after that, but sometimes you had to pick and choose equips and such.

Bravely Default takes heavily from Final Fantasy III and V. The vast majority of the jobs come from V, and Pirate is the only brand new one to the series.

ff iii, the actual ff iii and not vi? played ff one and maybe v but few minutes only. no wonder bravely default reminds of old jrpgs, especially ff games. 3ds needs a new grandia game or atleast remake of the first one
