This really needs an online play option. There is very little reason why it cannot be done, it has been done before and the netcode cannot be very complicated for this sort of game.

    a game on a nintendo system with online play is a very rare thing, lucky if u get local co-op. games ported to wii u like How to survive support online on last gen versions but get dropped for wii u version. Batman AO and sniper elite V2 have online competitive and co-op modes on last gen, but the wii u versions are missing these features.
