Finished! Only took me 90 hours... :D I liked this game a lot, but it still has a lot of potential. What do you think?

It's my current obsession~ I do think the sequel can improve a lot, but it's far from as bad as people say. No game is perfect, but it's still one of my favourites =D

Graphics 4/5, Sound 5/5, Gameplay 5/5, Story 3.5/5 (suffers from the only bad thing they did in the game). Overall 4/5. Could have been easily 5/5 If they didn't do the loop. They won't repeat the same mistake twice so Bravely Second can be 5/5 if they also just add something new to spice things up without changing the formula. But of course, it's only my opinion...=)

The great characters made the story worth it. Really, only chapter 5 and 6 suffered a lack of plot, and they were still good. I preferred them over chapter 3's trailing around everywhere anyway....

I remember thinking to myself a couple of times during the game "They really managed to give life to this characters!". Favourite Hero: Tiz. Favourite Villain: personality wise...Victoria and Alternis, endgame wise, Airy larva form due to the awesome change and the fact that you can finally beat her up

The asterisk bearers definitely added another dimension to the game. And I only hate Qada because they designed him to be hated. He's well written, he's just foul and evil. And then along comes chapter 7 and the game just becomes so much more entertaining because the flattest of characters gain a whole new layer of personality and I love it.

My favourite hero would be Ringabel or Edea. But Agnes is growing on me. I wouldn't call the asterisk bearers 'villains', but my favourite asterisk bearer is Victor because tragic villains are great and that story really got to me. I genuinely did not want to kill those two. But Victoria can be nasty, which I guess is why I don't like her as much.

I really liked the black mage because of his voice :) But I agree with Liz. With the final chapters the characters gained more depth. My fav main character is definitly Ringabel. Sometimes his humor is so bad that it became good again :D Especially the arguing between Edea and Ringabel was really funny :)

Yes, after you discover the truth Ringabel becomes something else, more than ever you start seeing the man behind the mask of...a ladies man lol. And trough the worlds is funny seeing certain aspects that you didn't know about the bearers or even the alternate ways their lives could have gone.

I just hope Bravely Third (yes please!) will have us playing with Agnes-Tiz babies, get them together team! By the way, did any of you play the spiritual prequel of Bravely Default? It's Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light. We might find some clues of Bravely Second in that one. Also, I am currently finishing a game that has been described as the Ds' Bravely Default, called Radiant Historia.
