Professor E Gadd says the door on the castle is locked and the only way to get inside is to get all of the ghost crystals. Luigi then has to travel to 7 different mansions and get all 7 ghost crystals. When you finally get all 7 of them Luigi has to get through the castle which is very hard to get through. continued on next comment.
