I use the crossbow and haven't used the stock in, or any syringe in a long time, so for that I can't tell you, however you deal the same melee damage as every other class(except Scout and Spy) however you and really well placed lvl 3 sentries are at the top of the hit list, so I would just let your teammates do the damage, you do the healing
