Just tested the midnight theory. If you turn your 3ds off and it goes past midnight it does mess up your other games... I changed it back this morning I was to sleepy to stay up till midnight lol. So maybe its just turn you 3ds off with the wrong date idk. Could someone test that? I'm not able to for 24 hours...
