NOOOO! Don't quit! You just haven't found the right people! Some people on here are actually really nice on here, and I've learned from experience. When my mom went into emergency surgery, I asked people to say a little prayer. And they did. And they checked on me, to make sure I was okay. There are probably people who are strangers to you, are nice. And I'm willing to listen if you need to talk.
