No it doesn't, but it does make me rage an get annoyed with it. But that just motivates me to keep on trying, and it is SO satisfying when you beat a level you were stuck on in Super Meat Boy. However, I don't think it's necessarily for everyone, if you just want to play casually then its probably not for you.
