When your married couple has a child, you must wait for it to grow up. You can either move it into an apartment & keep it on your island, or you can send it as a traveler. If you are wanting to send a traveler on your island to someone else's island you must StreetPass with eachother. Same thing applies when trying to recieve travelers. Hope this helps!
